Bolton to be Recess Appointment

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Bush will use a recess appointment to install John Bolton temporarily as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, a senior administration official said Monday.

This in light of new findings that he could not even remember being interviewed as part of any investigation within the past five years.

Another example of bad judgement calls that the Bush Administration has done. Bolton, described by some of his co-workers to be "a quintessential kiss-up, kick-down sort of guy" does not have the diplomacy knowledge to do the job that is needed at the U.N. Even if he is just a place holder till the end of this Congressional period, his management style can only hamper our already unsteady relationship with the U.N. and the rest of the world.
