According to at least 5 of the Hostages that were taken by students in Iran in 1979, the newly elected leader of Iran was one of their captors. This number has grown since I first read this story this morning. As Springer was just saying, how in the world did our goverment miss this one? And I believe these former Hostages, in that type of situation, you do not forget faces or voices.
