JD - I dont think I have been hiding behind my long hair all those years. Its just what I thought was me. Not so sure now. I said I would let it grow out again but I keep thinking I will cut it after the next time I get paid.
Why would people stare? Dont they know that chicks DO dig gnomes?

I love it that you show shirts you actually own. All the ones I have are stupid shirts. I just find new ones that I have to buy! My collection is growing though.
its unsolicited advice, so take it with pinches of salt etc...but i think you would look younger with short hair and no beard, have u tried this ? and then try the dating scene again ... a new you and all that, blah blah. a great haircut does wonders for confidence and others sense it and wanna be with you - fabulous! thats why us girls love getting our hair re-styled. personally i love short hair and clean shaved, but im the girl who had short hair for years and (when younger) I refused to go out with guys who had longer hair than me, so im biased and silly.
Do you do anything with the pics? sell em, or take any for friends?
Short answer - I have thought about doing it but dont think I will ever shave my beard.
Long answer - I have been shaving since I was 13 or so. I got a little moustache and told my Dad I was going to shave. He said not a good idea. What I didnt realize at the time the more I shaved the more it would grow out. I had a full beard when I graduated from high school. I had various stages of facial hair all through college, goatee, soul patch, fu manchu, mutton chops and full on beard. As for the dating scene, I am done with it, well for now. All I was getting was bullshit and I am too old for bullshit. I ended a 4 year relationship last year when my fiance decided that she should fuck a sailor and even though I am lonely and would like to find someone I have realized I am not ready to be out there, now if at all. I told someone yesterday that I think I am at that middleage time period where it is nearly impossible to find someone to date let along settle down with. Wow, this suddenly is long enough to be a post itself. I wonder if I should move it to the post area? As for the pictures, I enjoy taking photos and working with old photos, part of my job as an archivist. Mostly take pics of my small garden and other things around my house that I think are cool. That's about it.

I found a good number of my old t-shirts but I have not taken photos of them yet. Havent made the time. nto sure when I will do it, maybe this weekend. I think I missed one or two t-shirt tuesdays but I know I have run out of t-shirt pics so I will need to have some ready for next week.
In high school that was about all that was manly about me, hehe. I was short, small and then my senior year I was in a car accident and lost 30 pounds.
I posted about my ex last Fall in October but it may have been November. I waited awhile before saying anything. I was very mad. The one year is coming up in a month. I am sure I will bring it up then if not before.
And I have no idea if they are together. She lives 3+ hours away and really I dont give a fuck :)
