Nonesuch #161 'Exidor' from Mork & Mindy dies

Robert Donner

Robert Donner, a comedian and character actor known for his roles in TV's "Mork and Mindy" and "The Waltons" and movies including "Cool Hand Luke," has died. He was 75.

Mork & Mindy was one of my favorite shows growing up. When you think of how odd Mork was, Exidor took the cake. I never understood the character but that didn't stop me from liking him.

Growing up I wanted to be either a preacher(my Dad was/is one, now retired) or Robin Williams( hello mr happy)...yeah I know...big differences in those two.

I bought the first season of "Mork and Mindy" last year. I never realized how funny that guy was when I was a kid, but I do now. One of the funniest scenes was when Mork saw him in a jail cell and Exidor was wearing a necklace of oranges because he was worshipping O.J. Simpson.

How sad.

I looked him up on imdb.com and he has been in a lot of stuff. He is one of those people that you say to yourself, "where have I seen this guy before?" Didn't realize Mork and Mindy was on DVD. I know what I will be getting very soon.
